A Lenten/Easter Journey
Seven Mondays, 18:00-20:00, throughout Lent and Eastertide from March 10th. Every Christian’s spiritual journey is grounded in the life of Christ, in the “Word” of God, who died for us, is raised from the dead, and lives in our hearts. The Gospel Emmaus journey becomes our personal invitation into the mystery of the Incarnation. The life of Christ, in his life journey, becomes for us our own journey into His Cross and Resurrection, as the entire Gospel journey is clarified by the Word, as it was for Edward Joseph Clemmer. With yourself as a joint participant through the scripture and prayer of this biographical journey, Our Lord also reveals himself to you, as if you were with the author and the Risen Lord on Easter as one of those two disciples on the road to Emmaus.
Sessions will be based on Dr Clemmer’s work into two volumes ‘Gospel (on the Road to) Emmaus’
