“I live in Bournemouth on the south coast of the UK. I started my musical career as a chorister in Manchester Cathedral Choir and student at Chetham’s School of Music. I have been conducting choirs since I was 16 and have worked with choirs in London, Manchester, Ripon, Bristol, Reading and Dorset. In 2003 I formed Wessex Chamber Orchestra, a professional ensemble that accompanies my choirs and also gives its own concerts. My composing began whilst at school and I have been composing ever since. I have written for choirs, orchestras, small ensembles and solo instruments.”
DE-Tours brings together my experience running choral workshops and organising choir tours abroad. My first choral holiday will be to Malta and Gozo in Mach 2016. Entrance is free, but donations in aid for the restoration of the 17th century pipe organ are appreciated.
